Overview

While known for its dunes, Yyteri is also a great spot for relaxed coastal fishing. Wading in the shallow water or casting from the rocky points can be very productive.

Fish Species and Fishing

Spinning for perch and pike is popular along the edges of the sandy areas. Bottom fishing can yield whitefish and flounder, which is a specialty of the area. The autumn storms can bring sea trout within casting distance.

Rules and Permits

The fisheries management fee is sufficient for lure fishing. Be mindful of swimmers and other beachgoers, especially during the summer season.
