Connected to the mainland by a bridge, the island of Vasikkari is a popular recreational area with rocky shores that are perfect for casting.
Fish Species and Fishing
Casting jigs for perch from the rocky shores is very effective. The bays around the island are good spots for catching pike. In the autumn, you can also catch whitefish using bottom fishing rigs.
