Raumakari, Naantali
Naantali, Finland Proper
General Description
Raumakari is a small island and peninsula right next to the center of Naantali, known for its excellent fishing opportunities. The popularity of the place is increased by two fishing piers built and maintained by the City of Naantali, which make fishing easy and accessible to everyone.
Fish Stocks and Fishing
The area yields plenty of perch and whitefish. It is easy to fish from the piers with light tackle. Thanks to the clear waters, the place is also popular among sea trout fishermen, especially in spring and autumn. Zander can also be caught in the evenings.
Rules and Permits
Fishing requires the national fisheries management fee. The piers are freely available for everyone to use, but remember to give space to other fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts.
