Pitkäkoski Rapids

Pitkäkoski is a rapids area about a kilometer long, located at Hernejärvi, which has been restored and managed specifically for recreational fishing. Catchable-sized rainbow trout are regularly stocked in the area, which ensures a good chance of a catch. On the banks, there are several lean-to shelters, fire pits, and casting piers, making it an excellent destination for a family fishing trip.
