General Description
Naantalinaukko is a central water area off Naantali that connects several islands and waterways. The area is known for its beautiful scenery and diverse fishing opportunities. It is excellently suited for boat fishing.
Fish Stocks and Fishing
The dominant species in the area are pike and zander. Pike are abundant along reedy shores and near underwater rocks. Zander are targeted in deeper open waters and on ledges, especially by jigging. Large perch and whitefish can also be caught.
Rules and Permits
Fishing requires the national fisheries management fee. The area has heavy boat traffic in the summer, which should be taken into account when planning a fishing trip.
