Miekankoski Rapids
Mikkeli, South Savo
Miekankoski is part of the Mäntyharju route and a popular stop for both boaters and anglers. The area has a café, a logging museum, and good services. For anglers, there are several casting piers and shore fishing spots. Catchable-sized rainbow trout are regularly stocked in the area, but there is also a natural population of trout and grayling.
