Koitelinkoski Rapids

Koitelinkoski, also known as the "Pearl of the North," is an impressive and versatile rapids area on the Kiiminkijoki River, about a half-hour drive from Oulu city center. The area is excellent for fly and lure fishing with light tackle. You can catch trout, grayling, and stocked rainbow trout. In addition to fishing, Koitelinkoski is a popular hiking and recreational destination with several lean-tos, fire pits, and beautiful walking trails across the islands.
