Overview

The archipelago off the coast of Kotka is a diverse fishing destination, consisting of thousands of islands, islets, and skerries. The area is particularly known for its large pike and good zander populations. Boating is the recommended way to explore the archipelago, but shore fishing is also possible in many places.
