Kaarneenkoski Rapids

Kaarneenkoski is a small rapids south of Kajaani, favored by many fly fishers. Although the rapids are not large, they are known to hold surprisingly sizable trout. The spot is particularly suitable for anglers looking for a peaceful and nature-oriented location while still wanting to stay close to city services. The fish population of the rapids is managed with regular stocking.
